EVS INSTALLATION
REASON - To install the enhanced vision system (EVS) in airplanes equipped with provisions for EVS installed at the factory. DESCRIPTION - The EVS camera is installed. Necessary electrical wiring is installed in the fuselage and in the right wing. A circuit breaker, circuit breaker panel, and EVS switch are installed. There is a check to make sure that the applicable airplane flight manual (AFM) and correct software version are installed in the airplane. Then, a GDU 1XXX AUX VIDEO UNLOCK SD Card is installed, and the airplane is configured for EVS. COMPLIANCE - Optional: May be accomplished if desired. NOTE: Airplane must have software version 563.21 (or later build) installed before installation of the EVS option.
